Music App Reviews / https://soundcloud.com/tzonez
I am a graphic designer with ZERO musical experience. Currently, I am playing around with various FREE music apps that I find. Listening to music is awesome, so I wanted to unlock some of that creative energy for myself in a fun way. These apps provide a great creative outlet to play around with sounds and music ideas. Below are my novice reviews:
Who uses Music Apps?
-
Content Creators (most of these apps are ROYALTY FREE Music you can use on video content, animation, soundcloud, etc- PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK WITH SPECIFIC APP TERMS OF AGREEMENT)
-
Musicians (beginners/ rappers/ etc likely to benefit most)
-
Anyone who loves music and creating stuff
These are quick, honest UNPAID reviews. I hope you can enjoy these apps as much as I do. I will post more detailed reviews w/ screenshots, but these 2 are the first I am using:
Please note: I am using these in free unpaid mode. All apps have more robust paid features, but for now I am focusing on the free parts you can use:
Groovepad

-
UI looks good
-
easy & FUN to use- buttons are big and colorful
-
timing is easy to sync up
-
A lot of FREE music styles to unlock
-
lots of cool rap/trap/pop beats to play around with
CONS:
-
ads to unlock sounds, features (turn off wifi and Data and these go away easily :)
-
Not a lot of vocals to use (on the themes I used so far)
